Every Compass® shoe now comes equipped with NFC technology, allowing you to authenticate your pair through the MyCOMPASS app.
Starting April 2025, all Compass® shoes will have NFC (Near Field Communication) technology embedded in the tongue of the shoe, just behind the size label. You can scan the NFC chip using the MyCOMPASS app. When you purchase a pair, a tutorial on the hangtag will guide you through the process.
Here’s how to Authenticate your shoes.
1. Download the MyCOMPASS App from the Play Store or App Store. Look for the maroon Gazelle icon.
2. Once downloaded, tap Login (italics) on the top right and sign in with your sepatucompass.com account — or tap Register (italics) to create one.
3. Tap the red Scan (italics) button to begin authentication.
4. Hold your device near the tongue of the right shoe.
5. An on-screen message will confirm your shoes are authentic and verified.
6. Discover the full backstory behind your pair — from design concepts and materials to the people who bring it to life.
7. Want to browse more? Tap Shop Another Color (italics) to explore other Compass® products.
8. To scan another pair, simply tap Back to Home (italics).
Important Notes
• Only shoes with the NFC Lace Tag and Hang Tag can be scanned.
• You can scan your shoes multiple times using the MyCOMPASS App.
• For shoes without NFC tags, feel free to contact the Compass® Customer Service team for authenticity verification.
